Patrick Peteroff

The main thing Pat did this summer was work at Shenk's Fish plant at Sunshine Bay. He worked there for one week cuffing fish and other stuff. He worked both at Sunshine Bay and on Shenk's big freezer boat called the Scout. The Scout came here to collect fish from commercial fishermen then went back down to cut them up. The Scout came up and went down many times. Pat said that once when he was going down with the Scout they hit a sand bar and the boat spun around 360 degrees. He left Shenk's because the company was "busted" for buying illegal subsistence fish.

When the commercial fishing season was over Pat did things like visit us here in Marshall and go out goose and moose hunting. When he visited us he helped us with things like hauling and chopping wood, and with engine repairs.

Now he is waiting to work at PHS in Russian Mission. If he gets the job he will be changing water and sewer lines there.
