My Trip To Fairbanks

On May 16th I traveled to Fairbanks with Annie Beck and Ed Anderson. I went to Fairbanks for a part of my summer vacation. It was an eighth grade graduation present from my sister.

When we left Marshall it was snowy and cloudy. It took us an hour and a half to get to Bethel. When we finally got there Annie and Ed had something to eat. That's when we met Leslie Hunter Jr.

When it was time to leave we all got on the jet and we were off to Anchorage. To me it took longer than usual because I couldn't wait to get to Fairbanks. When we got to Anchorage, Bumboy took off to see his mom, and I had to wait for about two hours to get on the jet for Fairbanks. Around 9:30 P.M. my auntie Lena and my cousin Bupsie came to the Anchorage airport to see me. When she saw me she ran to me and hugged me really hard. But after awhile they had to go back to Neva Hunter's place.

Then it was time for me to leave. It took only 55 minutes to get to Fairbanks, andwhen I finally got there I really wanted to get off the jet to see my sister. I was happy to see her because I hadn't seen her for such a long time.

While I was in Fairbanks we mostly browsed in the stores, went to the movies and stayed home and watched T.V. The most fun I had in Fairbanks was when we went to the carnival.

At the movie theater I watched Beethoven, Encino Man and Sister Act. I watched some other movies but I forgot what they were. I liked all those movies, but I liked Sister Act the best.

When we went camping we went to the Delta Clearwater camping ground near Big Delta. It took us two hours to get there. When we got there we pitched up the tent and went to bed. We went home the next day and we stopped at Delta to eat breakfast.

When we were at the carnival in Fairbanks I had so much fun. I went on rides I'd never been on before. Man, I had lots of fun!

I came home early though because I got homesick. But after I came home all I did was babysit.
