Caroline's Summer

Caroline's Boliver's summer really began in the middle of May. She was laid off work because her boss and the company were running out of money. After that she and her boyfriend Ray would go out on fishing trips every Monday and Tuesday. They would sometimes even travel to Valdez, Talkeetna, and Montana Creek.

In Valdez she caught a few Pink salmon. And at TaIkeetna they caught Kings, Chums, and Pink salmon.

On the 17th of June Gerilyn went up to Fairbanks to visit with Caroline and Ray. And while Gerilyn was there they did a lot of things together, such as camping, shopping, going to the theatres, and going on a one night camping trip.

But her summer was not all fun. She stayed in on rainy days and did a lot of quilting. She also made lots of blankets, pot holders, and place mats. Then a lot of things happened in August. She came out to Marshall for both my Uncle Arthur's and Donald Hunter Sr.'s funerals.

After Caroline goes back to Fairbanks she will start school at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
