My Summer Vacation by Carmen Pitka

MY SUMMER VACATION

My whole vacation was okay and all I did was stay here in Marshall because my cousin died two months ago. We were going to stay over at Bethel for the 4th but he died on the 26th ofJune. We had his ceremony in Marshall. After that I stayed with Jennifer Fitka his older sister because she looked lost without him. We had lots of fun swimming below their fish camp. Almost the whole family went out for a boat ride, then when it got colder we quit.

Then I started to baby-sit my mischief little brothers and I couldn't go out at night because my parents were at bingo. So, my summer was a little boring but mostly O.K.
