My Dad's Summer

My Dad's Summer

This is what my father did this summer. He went to work at Co-op Fisheries. Then his brother Patrick gave him his fish ticket and we went out fishing with him and caught a lot of fish. He plans to fish up here inY-2 next year and work here with my grandpa so that he will take over his airline job.

He did a lot of other things this summer too. He went out berrypicking with my mother. He also went out hunting with all of the family and had a picnic with all of us. We did a lot of traveling to Marshall, Mountain Village, St. Mary's and Kotlik. He went to these towns because they were having fun things for adults. He also went to dances at these villages. One other thing he did was stay home with his children and wife. But he had a lot of things to do at Co-op Fisheries. At the end of August he also had to put the big LCM boats and barge away. He had fun over the summer.
