Fish Camp

This summer I went to fish camp, and after cleaning up the place I got the camp ready for hanging fish. Then we had to go subsistence fishing. Then we went to look for some logs for the manarvik. While we were searching for logs my mother was cutting fish. Then we went to check the net. After we checked the net we put up the fish. Then we went to check the net again. After we had checked it again we put up the fish and filled the buckets with water. After that we went to the house and made a fire to warm it up. We ate then we went home to Emmonak to sleep. The next morning we went back to the camp, down river then out to the coast to check the net again. Then we took the net out and brought it back to camp. The few fish we had we threw onshore and my mom cut them up. After making a fire in the smoke house we helped my mom hang them up for smoking. After that we ate and then went to bed.
