Weather Story

Last month on the 23rd of February, Wes, Nicole, and / went to St. Mary's for my Uncle George's first Eskimo dance pot latch. When we reached his house we ate then we got a call from my mom. She said she would not be able to make it to St. Mary's. Before we left,l gave my bag to my mom and told her to bring it down for me. It had my extra t-shirt, a sweater, my pants, and my shoes. After that we went to the store to get something to eat in the morning. Nicole bought a Play-Do set, a coloring book and markers, too. We told her to get crayons but she didn't listen to us . After we went to the store we went to my Uncle George's house to eat.

While I was waiting for Wes and Nicole to finish eating I was playing with my Uncle's dog Pumuq. Pumuq is my uncle's house dog. At seven 0-clock we went to the bingo hall to watch the Eskimo dance. We could not use the road because we had no tall light for the snow machine. Cops stop people with no tail lights in St. Mary's. We went home to George's. We were going to come home but it was too cold and it was snowing really hard so we stayed one more day. Nicole and I had lots of fun. While we were going to Pilot Station we got stuck in deep snow. The snow was up to Wes's thighs. We stopped at Pilot to dry our stuff, then we came home.
