Trapping at Nageethluk

One winter many years ago when Camille Boliver went out trapping at Nageethluk with Peter Elia, they got trapped themselves in a snow storm. Their snowmachines were stuck in deep snow and they couldn't go anywhere. So they decided to stay there until the weather got better. They tried making a fire but the wind kept blowing it out. They finally had to crawl under their tarps and stay there until the next day.

When they awoke the next morning, the storm had passed and they dug out their snowmachines, packed up and got ready to come home.

Another winter when he was 14 years old he went out trapping at Nageethluk with Jacob 'Yako' Evan. While they were out a snow storm hit and they were stranded for two days in flat open country with their dog teams. They didn't want to leave the place where they were because they thought they might get lost, so they stayed with their dogs and even slept with them for two days and two nights to keep warm. After the weather cleared up they came back home.
