Three Days Without Sleep

One time my dad, J.B., and Leon went moose hunting. While they were riding to the place to hunt my dad got stuck in a little ditch and the two boys didn't see him and went the wrong way. When they finally stopped, they didn't know where they were because it was really stormy. My dad saw them pass and tried to stop them but they didn't hear him. My dad got out of the little ditch and looked for them for about half an hour.

Then he went home and he planned to go out again but his bad leg was hurting so he called Richard Ellis. Richard Ellis called the Search and Rescue group. They searched for a long time but were instructed to come home to get some sleep for the next day.

J.B. ran out of gas, Leon had five more gallons so he gave J.B. two and a half gallons then they kept going. They went until early morning, but J.B. ran out of gas around Five Day Slough. He then traveled on Leon's snowmachine until they ran out of gas. When they ran out of gas they walked in the storm.

My dad finally found them by Pilot Station.
