When Jon was Young

When Jon was born on December 30, 1979, I was a nervous man because I did not know who or what to name him. His mother Daisy and I had a tough time naming him. His boyhood was interesting compared to mine, for he had his two grandmas and grandpas. The worst part of his childhood was when he was ill. I was always worried. And he was sick so often. We were always going to the clinic and getting his shots. I felt so bad I wanted to take the shots myself. It's hard to see the pain that your own children go through. Another bad part I remember was when the grandparents tried to take control of his upbringing, although I tried not to let them take too much control. When Jon was a young boy he was always helpful. But nowadays he's gotten a little lazy. Age seems to make a lot of difference.
