Violent Kid:Violent Kid
There was once a violent kid name David in the fifth grade who always had a bad attitude. Every time he couldn't figure out problems by himself, he would get mad and holler at his teacher for help. Other times he would mumble to himself and say that he wasn't going to do his work. Every time something bad happened to David he'd get sent to the office and spend all day doing his work there. When David's mom dropped him off at school, his attitude was good until he was told to do his work. He was the kind of student that didn't really like to work or do anything for his teacher. And whenever he wouldn't listen or work, his teacher would send him to the office. But when David was in the office he worked, cooperated and behaved much better because there were other people around him. The only time he would behave in class was when the principal or someone else was near him. One day during school David was asked to work with a student named Jessie in math. While they were working on a problem, David got mad at Jessie. He thought she was wrong when she was really right. And that got him mad, and he tried to beat her up. Then he just got himself in trouble. As a result, the secretary at the school called up his mom and told her that she was needed at the school right away. When Lena came to the school she went into the office. There the principal talked to Lena and his teacher, Ms. Anderson, about how David was acting in school. After Lena talked to the principal and David's teacher, she took David home and gave him a little "discipline."After that David started to behave much better. He learned to be more respectful and polite towards the people and students around him. He also learned how to cooperate and work with others. By: Mary Jane Shorty | |
