The Dumper

One evening after a busy day at work I started heading home in my Lamburgini. Just ahead of me I saw a dump truck loaded with trash. As I got near the truck it started slowing down by a quiet little pond filled with wildlife. When it stopped the dump went up and the tail gate opened and all kinds of trash and other waste fell out on to the ground and into the water.

I stopped to watch and check out the different varieties of trash that were spilled. On the ground I saw old car batteries, oil cans, gas tanks and some barrels that had the words "toxic chemicals" on them. When I got right beside the truck I looked up at the driver so that I could identify him when I went to the police. His face was very ugly with many wrinkles and his hair appeared to be long, tangly, and very dirty.

As soon as he saw me he pulled out a double barrel 12 gauge shotgun and fired at me once. He shot out the passenger side window, and I stepped on the peddle not realizing it was only in first gear. When I looked back in the mirror he was right on my tail. Then all of a sudden he was pushing me off the road. So I quickly turned back on the road and changed gears. When I got the car into fourth gear I started to blow him away.

When I got back to town I went to the police and told them about the incident. They all laughed because they thought I was fooling. But when I brought out one of the officers to look at my car he stopped his laughing. We went back in and another officer showed me pictures of some suspects. When I identified the man, they told me he was a serial killer and he had also robbed a couple of banks. They said he was one of America's Most Wanted because of his crimes. After finding out he was a professional killer I decided to move back to Alaska.

While I was riding north to Alaska I had a funny feeling I was being followed. When I looked in my rear view mirror I saw the same dump truck I'd watched dump the garbage in the pond. I figured he was tailing me and I started to speed up. When we got to a tight turn the dump truck was so large he almost went off the road. Then the road started to get rougher, and the next thing I knew we were climbing a hill.

When I reached the top I waited for the dump truck to appear. Then I positioned my car close to the edge of a cliff. I almost fell over the edge but I used my new anti-lock brake system to hold me in place. The truck stopped and the driver looked at me with evil in his eyes. Then he started to speed up towards me. Just when he got close enough I jammed the gears into reverse and stepped on the peddle. He just nicked my bumper and ran headlong over the edge. It was a very long way down, and I knew he was dead, so I went back to the police and told them what happened. They checked out the truck and told me for sure that it was him.

Good riddance to bad rubbish!
