Divorced

It was 15 years ago when I first met my husband. First we were just dating, then three months later he asked me if I would marry him. I was so shocked I didn't know what to say. When he asked me again I told him yes. We were engaged for about half a year because we had to make money to pay for our wedding.

After our wedding was over we moved to Hawaii. At that time we were still young and I told my husband that I wanted to go to college. My husband didn't mind so I studied accounting. After I graduated from college I found a good paying job in a bank. It was good that I did because I was the only one who was paying the bills. All my husband did was lie around. He didn't even bother to look for a job to help me pay the bills. I hadn't realized he was like that. Then I got pregnant. While I was carrying our child we sat down and talked about him searching for a job before I gave birth so I could stay home and watch our baby.

After our son Eric was born my husband still hadn't found a job. At first I wanted to give Eric away because his father wouldn't watch him when I was at work. But finally I found a babysitter whom I really liked. She babysat for me for a whole year until I noticed that she and my husband were acting strangely when they were with each other. So one night I told my babysitter and my husband that I was going to have to work very late. Meanwhile I sneaked back to our house and when I opened the bed room door I found my husband fooling around with the babysitter. I was so mad I decided not to stay with him anymore. Besides he was too lazy and wouldn't work for a living. Later I filed for a divorce.

Now I have a better husband who is not lazy at all. He has a job and I can stay home and be a housewife and a mother to our three children.
