A Deadly Addiction

Yesterday, Pang went over to Bethel to buy me some weed. He is one of the runners here in Marshall. I gave him two hundred dollars to get me as much weed as he can.

In the morning I went up to the airport to meet Pang and get my drugs. After the plane landed I picked him up. He looked scared because he thought he might get caught smuggling drugs.

Later on in the evening I started to smoke the weed I got from Pang. Greg and Paba bear came to see me because they heard I had a lot of weed. They were really stressed out because they wanted to smoke some of my weed. Feeling sorry for them I gave them a little. I was so stoned my eyes were red and puffed up. After ten mintutes I fell asleep.

When I got up the next morning I didn't really know what I was doing. I had a slight headache so I started to dig around for some Tylenol. After I took a tablet I went out on the porch to smoke more of my weed. When I was almost through smoking, the door opened. My thirteen year old nephew looked at me strangely and asked me, "What are you doing?" I replied nervously" Making a carving of an animal." Then he went inside to watch some T.V. After I was done I went inside and fell asleep because I was feeling very tired.

After sleeping for two hours, I got up and got ready to check Paba bear. When I reached his house the gang was already in there waiting for me. I asked them if they wanted to smoke some weed with me? All of them were wide-eyed as soon as they saw my stash. Greg was the one who took the most hits because he was already addicted to the drug when he was 15 years old. After we were almost through smoking all of my weed I felt very sick then I blacked out.

When I woke up I was feeling terrible. I didn't even know where I was. When I saw my brother crying I knew something was very wrong. Then the doctor came in and told me that I was going to die because of my drug overdose. Knowing I only had a few hours left to live I told my brother never to do what I did. I also told him to tell the gang not to smoke too much weed because it can destroy you and your whole life, and that they should all consider quitting this as soon as they can. Then all of a sudden everything went blank!
