Ravens at the Dump
As my friend and I were walking up to the airport we stopped by the dump and started watching the ravens. While we were watching the ravens on the tall cottonwood branches, I saw one raven perched nearby and I started sneaking up on her. As I slowly approached the raven, she kept on looking at me. I stopped for a while and stood about 15 feet or more away from her. Then she made a croaking sound. That kind of scared me but I just stood there anyway. Finally I decided to run at the raven, and it flew away.

My friend and I stayed at the dump for quite a while watching the ravens. Man, there sure were a lot of ravens standing all over those tall tree branches! When we got bored we decided to throw rocks at the ravens. A lot of them flew away but they came back to the branches again and croaked and made other funny noises. After watching a little while longer we got bored again and started walking down to where most of the other teenagers were hanging out.
