One Spring Day...

"My family and I went out spring camping in June of 1994. The water was very high at the time and we were able to travel in many sloughs and lakes. The weather was very warm outside with the sun shining bright on the water. It was the second day of our camping trip when something interesting happened. While we were parked in a lake eating lunch we saw a raven flying in circles. He flew about 20 feet above the water for a long time. Then it dived to the surface of the water and flew back into the air. The raven did this a few times until it finally caught what seemed to be a trout. The raven then flew straight to the pine trees on the bank and probably brought the trout to its babies. After watching the raven disappear in the distance, we drove further into the lake."
