Marshall Profile

Objective: Students will gain diverse knowledge and understanding about their communities historical and present day organization so that they weill be able to interact with it more easily as teens and later as responsible adults.

Task: Students will select an aspect of Marshall's village history and present day organization and research it by means of questionaires applied to village leaders and (elder) citizens. These investigations will be presented to the class and then to the A.S.B. They will then be bound and become the Marshall Village Profile. This document will be sent to other LYSD schools.

Evaluation: In addition to informal teacher assessments based on the quality of the work researched and presented, students will be tested on information they glean from their peers during their presentations.
