Nick Boots

Sales Clerk

Nick is the sales clerk at the Fortuna Ledge Co-op Store. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1986. He learns new things while he is on the job. You will see Nick mainly working at the counter or in the shopping aisles. He works eight hours a day, five days a week with several people, including Loretta, Gabe, Roberta, Julia, Alex, Clifford and Camille. His boss is Alex Nick.

One of his responsibilities is counting cash after store hours. Others are serving customers and doing inventory. He gets $6.25 an hour. One of the best parts of his job is working with the people, and another is when he gets overtime. He dislikes the long hours and the slack time when there's nothing to do. He also dislikes the low pay.

For anyone who would like a job like Nick's, here's advice from the man who knows. Always be on time, work hard, study hard in your math classes and have a bright attitude towards your customers.
