The Monkey Man
Long ago when Agnes was small, she used to always hear stories about the Monkey Man who used to live in the trees. Here is how the story goes.

Long ago when the people used to go to fishcamp they always brought another family with them. So after these two families went to fishcamp, the kids weren't listening to their parents. The parents were telling the kids to come on up from the beach or else the Monkey Man would take them away. So all the kids came up from the beach except for one boy who said he wouldn't be scared if he got taken away because he would fight the Monkey Man.

So the boy stayed on the beach all day and all night long. But in the middle of the night he heard something in the trees and he got scared. He was going to his parents cabin when something from behind grabbed him and threw him down. Then when the boy got up and ran to the cabin door his dad told him to stay out and follow through with what he said he would do.

The boy said he was just lieing and that from now on he would listen. So the parents finally let him in and the Monkey Man went away. After that the boy always listened to his parents.
