THROUGH THE EYES OF A TURKEY
Hello! My name is Rose. I am a turkey and this is my life story. Well, it all began ten years ago when I hatched out of my egg. My two older brothers and my older sister had already hatched before me. My family and I stayed in a warm cozy shack just right for us. At first there were only my brothers, my sister, my mom and me because my father had already been killed and taken to the market. But the farmer took very good care of us. And we really liked her because we thought she was so nice.

I grew up in that shack with my brothers and sister because when I was two years old the farmer killed my mother. I guess she sold my mom at the market just like my father. Then the day came when the farmer took my oldest brother, Chris, and killed him for Thanksgiving. After that it was a lonely time for all of us.

About a year later, the farmer came back and took my sister Tucker. My brother Tim and I have been alone ever since our parents, sister and brother were killed by that evil farmer Someday we will die too.

It's late summer now and we are still alive. I hope we live together and die together. I want to be with him foever.Fall is coming and we are very scared one of us will die soon. I wish I knew a way to communicate with the farmer so I could tell her to kill us at the same time if she is going to kill us.

Well that's life so far. I hope you enjoyed hearing about it.

THE END
