Living Without Parents

All I wanted to do was stay with my mother,

No one around payed much attention, no one bothered,

I tried to talk with others but they didn't understand,

Finally one person sat beside me and lent me a hand.

I had so many problems with family and friends,

I wished all these problems could end.

Now most of my problems are going away,

But I wish that she could have stayed.

Ever since my mother left, its been very different in our family,

We all miss her and wish she could see how much we've changed.

My whole life I wished that I had gone with her,

But I have to face what I'm going through now.

But I've always wanted to see how it feels with real parents, I have to pretend others are my parents, and that's not fair!

I hope someday that l get to see both of them in person.

If I do, I'll be happy.

It is hard living without parents,

Having to face the ups and downs of every day.
