So Many Moose!

"This past September 20, I took a boat ride to Devil's Elbow with my husband Bill Manumik and my daughter Flora Evan. We went way inside the Elbow where we saw a cow moose with two calves. We watched them for awhile and then we decided to go farther in Devil's Elbow. While we were driving in we saw a bull moose. Flora tried shooting at it, but her gun jammed.

Before too long it started getting dark, so, although we didn't want to, we figured we should start heading home before it got too dark to see on the river. On our way out of the Elbow we saw another bull moose, but it was too dark to see, so we just left it alone. That moose was a lot bigger than the one we'd seen farther in. By the end of the day I had never seen so many moose before in just one day."
