I Will Never Know

Moose are here and there
but we never know where they are.
They can be near or they can be far
but even Jack may never know where they are.

The hunting season is in September
but many hunters still don't know where they are
I certainly don't know,
and Jack may never know.

They could be under a tree,
or taking a pee.
They are brown
as the ground.
And neither Jack nor I may ever
know where they are.

One day, though,
maybe Jack will know
but I will never
never know where they are...
