Found: They are found in moist areas both on the hills and flats.

Edible: yes

Preparation & use: Collect the young leaves in the spring and summer,cut them into small pieces and boil them until they are soft. Then mix with black berries and salmon berries to make akutaq. You can also eat them with seal oil, sugar, and milk.
