ITGARALGET - SEA PURSLANE

(HONCKENYA PEPLOIDES)

"ITGARALGET" is an edible plant. We used to eat the plant long ago but not very much. We picked the plant in midsummer. Then we cooked them and ate some only with seal oil. We never mixed them with anything else.

The people did not usually eat that plant only once in a great while. Today most people don't eat it at all.
