Michael Jordan was a high scoring NCAA basket ball player who was going to school at North Carolina State Collage. In his last year of college Michael was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the NBA. Before Michael joined the NBA the Chicago Bulls were unheard of. The two main teams four years ago were the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. In 1989 and 1990 the Bulls got to the Eastern Conference finals, but then they had to play the Detroit Pistons, a very aggresive team, and lost. The Chicago Bulls weren't too good; it was not their time to rise above the rest and become the best. It was no contest. The Pistons killed the Bulls, winning five games to two.

In 1991 the Bulls came back to the playoffs, but in the first few games Air Jordan was not the hot player for the Bulls, making about 20 points a game. But the time came when the Chicago Bulls had to play the Pistons in the Eastern Conference finals. Unlike the other games, Jordan scored 54 points, leading the Bulls to a 101 to 98 victory over the Pistons. That game was played in The Palace Stadium in Alborn Hills, Detroit. The next game was played in the same place, but the Pistons won that game with Joe Domars scoring high at 26 points. Jordan had double Domar's points but the Bulls lost by five with the score of 98 to 93. That was a big break for the Pistons. The games went back and forth like that until the Bulls finally won. The next games they played were more important because it was the championship. The Bulls were playing the L.A Lakers and they won the first four games and became the NBA CHAMPS ! After the fourth game the Bulls celebrated in the locker room. It may be that during the celebration Michael got a little too much of a buzz, because when he was driving home in his Porsche he had a head on collison with a pick up truck and became paralized for life. The great AIR Jordan would never regain flight.
