Max's Christmas Message

from the best little school on the Yukon

As the Christmas season and the New Year approach we all seem to reflect on many things we are thankful for.

I'm thankful for many things. First for my family and the things my family have accomplished, and for their and my good health. Also for the community in which we live and the friends and acquaintances that I've been privileged to be with.

I'm thankful for being one of the staff members at Marshall. I think we have a staff that is one of the best in the state. It is a staff that complements each other and is concerned about the success of students and how they can improve themselves and the community.

I'm thankful for the support the community gives the school. You might not realize this, but not all communities are as supportive as Marshall. We are all interested in the same goal which is the success of our students and your families.

It is hard to believe how fast this school year has gone by! I remember my father telling me that, "Time will pass by fast if you keep busy and if you enjoy what you are doing." He was right. I have enjoyed the year so far, and that is because of the support you have given the school. And for that I am thankful.

It is my hope and prayer that you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and that the feeling you have during this time will remain with you throughout the coming year.
