Slavic in Mountain Village

Before Christmas break started they had the school Christmas program on the 22nd of December. Before it started Clifford and I got our little boys ready and went up to the school to attend the program. We had a great time watching the kids perform their plays and sing their songs. The rest of the day we spent some quality time together, and while we were doing this we made a Christmas chain out of paper, colored it, and hung it up. On Christmas Day we opened our presents at noon, and everyone was very excited. My youngest son, Eric, was excited, too. He was so happy his face looked as if it were glowing.

During the Russian Orthodox Christmas (Slavic) we followed the star until January 10th because we had to go to Bethel for our medical appointments. Then from Bethel we went to Mountain Village to spend Slavic with my parents and other family members. We returned to Marshall on the15th.

When we returned we had to catch up on our sleep because many nights we had stayed up late. Then I had to get Anthony ready for school, and I also had to get ready myself to go to work at the school subbing for Gail.
