Finally on the 14th!

Most of the time during the Christmas break I stayed up all night walking around and trying to have a good time. Almost every night I would go out at about 10 o'clock in the evening and check my buddies. Then we wandered the streets to try to find something to do. Sometimes we would stay indoors at someone's house and talk and laugh at funny or stupid things that happened in the past.

When Slaviq neared I helped my mom get ready. I didn't follow the star all over this year, though I only went to four houses. I would have gone to a lot more houses, but I had to work at the store that week. Then I would go home at 11:00 p.m. so I could wake up by 8:00 a.m. I worked from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and the schedule got me ready for school again.

On the 14th, I started up my four-wheeler because all three of our snow machines weren't running, and I began riding around. Finally I was having some fun, and I rode around till I ran out of gas. Nick Fitka Jr. (Long) and Everett came along with their four-wheeler and pushed me and Porky to my house. Then we all stood outside of my house wondering what to do next. One of the boys asked me what was wrong with my mom's XLT, I told him it didn't want to start. They started pulling on it for awhile, it fired up. I then took Porky to his house and chatted with a bunch of people outside of Bernice Tikiun's place. I didn't want to stay out long because my mom wanted us to go to bed a little earlier so we would be in the habit of getting up for school when it started on the 17th. The next day my dad gassed up my four-wheeler and I went out for a ride. I had so much fun that night riding with my friends who had their own four-wheelers. We jumped around in the snow on the tundra, followed old trails, broke new trails and just simply had a good time.

The night before we had to go back to school everybody was out enjoying the last day of Christmas vacation. There were lots of four-wheelers and snow machines riding around and we were having a good time. Right before curfew at 10:00 p.m. someone with a four-wheeler asked us if we wanted to play tag with our four-wheelers. I agreed and we started playing. But at 10:00 p.m. I went home and did my homework. I had to prepare for school the next day.
