A Moose Hunting Christmas

This year's Christmas vacation was the longest vacation I've had in years. On the first week of my vacation I went out moose hunting with my father-in-law Frank Coffee and some other guys. We hunted around the Horseshoe Lake area on December 27. We went in the morning and came back in the afternoon. Even though I had no luck, I enjoyed the mighty outdoors, in the cold, crisp weather, with temperatures reaching -20 at times. I had to constantly wipe my glasses because they kept fogging up while I was trying to keep up with the other guys.

I also went to Kipnuk to visit my family for a couple of days. I was there for a week before school started to visit my family and friends because I hadn't seen them since July.

The thing I enjoyed most of all, though, during the Christmas vacation was spending time with my newborn daughter, Nadine.
