Flora's Christmas

"For our three and a half week Christmas vacation I went fishing with my family back behind the mountain to Kayakutaq. The most fish I caught was five northern pike. My fishing trip was a good excuse to be away from home because I am the type of person who cannot stay in one place a long time. But I enjoyed spending the vacation with my family and doing things and going places with them. Throughout the Christmas vacation I also did some skin sewing. I made myself a fur hat. I enjoyed making it because skin sewing is one of my favorite hobbies. My mother Terri also cooked up a storm for me to celebrate my recent graduation from Sheldon Jackson College in Sitka on Dec19, 1997."
