A Lot of Slavi

"During Christmas I was here in Marshall. I went to the Christmas programs and they were okay. At midnight on Christmas Eve I went caroling with four other singers, but when I got to the end of town I ended up alone. I had a pretty busy week from Christmas to Slavi (Russian Orthodox Christmas). We had to get everything ready for Slavi, and we had to clean and decorate the church. I went slaviing which lasted from January 7 to January 11. Russian Christmas this year went faster than last year.

I also went square dancing and had fun there."
