Time Spent With My Family

After school was out for Christmas vacation I went to St. Mary's by snow machine to visit my sisters, Augusta and Elena and her kids. I stayed down there for about four hours. While I was there I babysat Denise and Breckman for an hour or so. During the rest of my visit, I watched Cable TV and talked with Elena. About 12:00 A.M. we got ready to come back home.

Before the Marshall community Christmas program I wrapped the rest of my gifts and brought them up to the gym. After the program I went home and took pictures of my niece and nephew, Carlene and Theo opening their gifts.

On the last day of December, Augusta came up for the square dance. I went up to the dance with her, then I went down to the dance at the hall and had fun there too. The next day I went to the turkey shoot but I didn't win anything.

I also helped my mom and Augusta clean up and rearrange our house for Slaviq. It wasn't much fun but I was relieved when we were done. On Jan. 2, Augusta went back to Pitka's Point, and after that I busied myself getting dirty laundry done since I was so bored.

When Slaviq started I brought Theo with me, as we followed the big star on the first day. The next day I went with Palassa and her baby. That same evening Augusta came back up for Slaviq.

On the 10th or 11 th we got ready to feed while the big star was on its way to our house. When it got there, Palassa, my mom and my sister Augusta and I were busy asking people what they wanted to eat and drink. Then we washed dishes and did all the stuff you do when the star is in your house.
