Terri's Fishing Trip:
Terri's Fishing Trip
Over the Christmas vacation Terri Evan-Manumik didn't do much or take many trips because of the wet weather that lasted most of the vacation. She recalls taking only one trip in early January to Kuik to do some ice fishing with her husband, Bill Manumik. "We usually go to Kayukutuk or some other place behind Pilcher Mountain to ice fish. That was my very first time ever ice fishing in Kuik. I really enjoyed taking a trip outdoors because I hadn't been out in the country for a long time," Tern said. During Tern's trip Bill caught three fish and Tern didn't catch anything. All she had were a few nibbles. But even though Tern was skunked that fishing trip, she said she enjoyed it very much.
