Willie Fitka Jr.
Manager

Willie Henry Fitka Jr. was born in Bethel, Alaska, in 1958. He grew up here in Marshall and went to school here and in Kenai, Bethel and at Mt. Edgecumbe in Sitka where he graduated in 1976.

Willie has worked as Co-op Store manager for four years. He enjoys his job because it is challenging. He applied for the job because he had had some experience on a smaller scale in high school. The training he needed before he could get his job was in accounting, retailing and supervision. He also gets this training on-the-job as he works. His job keeps him stimulated and on a schedule. The best thing he likes about his job is happy customers, and the worst thing is not-so-happy customers.
