Donna Best
Special Ed. Teacher

Donna was born in 1958 in New Jersey. She grew up in New Jersey and went to school there. She graduated from high school in 1976. Then she went to Clarion University in Pennsylvania where she got her Bachelor's degree.

She went to Rutgers University for graduate school and got her Master's degree there. She has been working in Marshall for four years and plans to work here for a long time. She likes her job because it gives her an opportunity to work with different kids. Donna has always wanted to work with kids with special needs.

Before she got her job here she needed a licence from the State of Alaska. To keep her job she needs to take classes to renew her certificate. She feels that her job keeps her stimulated because she has to work with so many different students. The best thing about her job is helping kids learn, and the worst is when the kids have trouble learning and she can't find a way to help them.
