 "Fun" at Chucky Cheese

"Right after Christmas, Smaller, my husband Frank and I went to Anchorage for four days. I visited the hospital every day where I visited my friend's husband who had a stroke. I also visited my first cousin Lucy Meile. I did shopping in the mornings and afternoons and went to Bingo with Lucy and her husband Jim in the evenings. I also took Smaller to Diamond Center to play games and watch people skate.

When I took Smaller to Chucky Cheese I got bored in no time, but he was having so much fun, I stayed a while. But I got tired of following him around, so I just sat down and waited for him. He got lost once and I had to walk around looking for him until I got tired. Finally, when I sat down to rest, he found me. He was looking for me because he needed more money for more tokens. When I wanted to leave I had to "force" him to come with me by promising him that next time we'd stay longer.

From there we went to the hospital to visit a sick person. When we had to go I got Smaller a hamburger and fries, picked up my new glasses and went back to the hotel.

We visited Lucy only once, and Smaller had fun with her cat and big-eyed Chihuahua. We also had dinner with her and her husband.

When we came home to Marshall I did a lot of skin sewing. I made a mologay and a parka for myself which I'm almost done with. I really enjoyed my Christmas vacation!"
