Herman's Summer Tendering

This past summer my dad say s he did a lot of things. The first thing he did was collect fish with Paul Buster in the fish tender Kimberly Ann. They had to make sure all the engines were working and then prepare for the trip. This year they had a better year because they didn't have as many problems as last year. But the amount of fish they collected was less. The first and second openings they didn't get any fish at all because everyone delivered their fish down river to Boreal since their price was higher.

On his own time Herman caught some subsistence fish so that his wife could cut them, and he went out to get some smoke wood so the fish could be smoked. My dad also got a lot of logs for winter use, especially in his steam house. Recently he went hunting geese with his friends and brought home a lot of geese.
