The Bumble Bee
One day there was a bumble bee flying
around in our house and it kept flying around in the house and
bumping everything and making things fall every time it bumped.
Sometimes it almost hit me and when it was about to sting me, I
ducked down just in time before it bumped me. It was a kind of a big
bumble bee and was flying fast all the time past us kids. It stung a
few people, and they hurt but didn't cry at all. We tried to catch it
but it was too fast to be caught. Sometimes it would be buzzing right
in front of my face and the other kids' faces too. We started to
throw things at it but we never hit it. Some of us almost hit it. It
kept coming towards us but we couldn't catch it at all. We started to
get branches to try and hit it, but it was too hard to hit. The next
time it came near me, I tried to slap it but it was flying in too
many different directions. I kept trying, and also my cousins, but it
was too hard to hit. Only after it started to slow down a little bit
and then landed in one place, and I hit it and then smashed it till
it was dead. Then we felt sorry for it.
