Raven's Fun

It was a typical winter day outside--not too cold and not too warm. I was in my house all alone enjoying myself and taking advantage of the peace and quiet since my brothers weren't home parading around or starting a ruckus. Suddenly the silence was broken by our dog, Blue Eyes, barking frantically at God knows what! I lazily strolled over to the window expecting to see Blue Eyes in a fight with another one of Ed's loose dogs. But when I reached the window I was surprised to see a raven staring at our dog in a mischievous manner. The raven was constantly moving nearer to the dog and letting the dog chase him until the dog got an enormous whiplash from the short chain that was tied to the telephone pole. It looked as if the raven was just having fun and even laughing at the dog while it barked out, "if I ever get my hands on you!" After Raven acted in this comical but self-centered way for a while, he began to look like he was getting tired of it. And so was the dog. Then the raven flew onto the top of the telephone pole, croaked at the embarrassed and ever-so-mad dog, and finally flew off into the white sky.
