ANCET is made up of 16 regional, non-profit Native organizations that operate employment and training programs. These are programs authorized under a variety of laws (including, for instance, the Job Training Partnership Act). The programs are funded by several federal agencies?including the departments of Health and Social Services and Labor and the Bureau of Indian Affairs?as well as the state government. ANCET operates employment and training programs in both urban and rural areas.
