The KPBSD has approximately 1,000 enrolled Native students in the Title VII program. Title VII students who need assistance receive tutoring in reading, language arts, and math. The second component will assist Alaska Native Teacher Aides to achieve Alaska Teacher Certification by preparing them for the Praxis I skills test through a two-week test preparation institute.
