A Wonderful
Christmas
Christmas comes once a year.
Christmas is a time for giving, sharing and being with those you
love. The best part of Christmas is when you see your little sister
or brother or one of your own little children open their presents on
Christmas day. But Christmas isn't everyone's favorite holiday
because someone you cared deeply for may have left you and isn't
coming back. So Christmas has different meanings for different
people.
We all have fantasies. Have you ever
fantasized how you would want your holiday to be? One of my fantasies
would take place in a Marshall with my whole family. The weather
outside would be sky high with snow! The temperature would be just
right so you could stay outside for hours having a wonderful time.
Our house would smell so good from all the cooking and baking that
your mouth would start to water. We'd decorate the Christmas tree and
the star would shine brightly above. After the food was all done we'd
go up to the school and watch the community programs. After that we'd
go back home and enjoy a big supper. On Christmas day we'd wake up
and open our presents. The day would be filled with happy memories we
would never forget.
In my other fantasy I would to take
my little daughter on a trip she would never forget! I'd take her to
Disney World in Orlando, Florida, along with Jason, of course. On our
way we'd stop at Anchorage for the night and do some shopping. I'd
let Mary pick out a special toy because we'd have a long ways to fly.
When we reached Orlando we'd stay in a nice hotel with a wonderful
view. After unpacking we'd go to Disney World and look around. Mary
would be having such a good time seeing all the cartoon characters
that we'd stay there for a week.
On our way home we'd stop at
Anchorage again and spend three days there, mostly shopping at the
malls. Then we'd head on home and enjoy spending time with family
again!
