My Dream Christmas
Vacation
The Christmas vacation of my dreams
would be bringing my mom, dad, brothers and sisters to Honolulu on a
Carnival Cruise Line ship while taking my break from working in San
Francisco as an electronic engineer which would provide me with the
money to pay for the trip and the condo I bought in Honolulu where we
would stay for a couple of weeks.
We would spend Christmas Eve on board
the ship watching pop stars such as Mariah Carey, Sheryl Crow, and
Bette Midler sing lovely Christmas songs enjoyed by everyone. We
would follow this with a lobster dinner and a good glass of $500
champaign. We would be in Seventh Heaven!
On Christmas day, after arriving in
Honolulu, we would immediately go to the Aloha Bowl where we'd watch
the 49'ers kick the heck out of the Dallas Cowboys. After the game
we'd be worn out so we'd get in my Ford Explorer and go to my condo
to open presents and have a pepperoni pizza dinner.
Since my parents would probably want
to go home on the day after New Year's I would make New Year's day a
blast for all of us. I would rent a bunch of wave runners and jet
skis and we would all spend the day riding around in the beautiful
warm ocean until sunset. The next day I'd fly back to Marshall with
my family and check out the square dances with them. I'd be sure to
play a little city league basketball too. Then I would head back to
my home in San Francisco, California.
