My Christmas
Dream
A Christmas I've dreamed about
includes two parts, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
I've dreamed of spending Christmas
Eve with my girlfriend in a house of my own. It would have a romantic
atmosphere with candle light, roses, and snow falling outside. We
would start off the evening with a toast as we lit up a small
decorated tree. This would be followed later by the giving and
receiving of expensive gifts like jewelry and other things in front
of a fireplace. Just before midnight we would go out for a walk or a
ride and view the lights of town or the stars in the sky. Before
going home we would have to play, throw a few snowballs at one
another and then hug before going back home. The night would end no
earlier than three A.M.
The next day, Christmas day, I'd be
up early, then she would leave to be with her family and I'd do the
same. With two armloads of presents, I'd waltz in and shower a
roomful of children and other family members with hugs and kisses.
Everyone would be happily greeting each other and sitting around the
tree talking and smelling a wonderful dinner cooking. Finally the
dinner would be ready and we'd eat heartily. Afterwards everyone
would gather around the tree and open presents, tell stories, and
sing. There would be some outdoor games, families making snowmen and
everyone would have a lot of fun. The whole day would start perfect
and it would end perfect. At night I'd fall asleep feeling good, and
with a strong Christmas spirit.
