REGISTRATION

Instructions: Please click on Registration link above, fill-out the form, and fax to: 206-441-3307

(Subject to change as arrangements are finalized):

Registration:

General Registration
$300.00 for general participant registration payable to Antioch University Seattle. As the workshops are not grant funded this first year, participant registration and sponsorships support all the costs of conducting the Institute. Meals are not provided as part of the registration, but cafeteria meal tickets may be purchased separately through the host institution or on your own at local restaurants. There is no deadline to register, but prospective participants should submit payment before the second day of the Institute they will attend. Also, those who do not have time to fax a registration form to AUS before their session starts should call Ted Wright (206-501-0637) as soon as they know they will attend.

Administrators/Leaders Option
The School-Community Leadership Consortium at Antioch University Seattle announces a second registration option to attend the Summer Institutes in Place-Based Education. Administrators, elected officials and community leaders may attend the Summer Institutes for a reduced registration fee of $200.00 and elect not to attend the day three work sessions and digital story presentations. The Consortium is adding this option so that policy and decision-makers will have the opportunity to learn more about place-based education models and how they could be adopted in their schools and communities.

Seattle Session to Serve as Place-Based Education Summit
In addition to the above option, the Seattle session of the Summer Institutes will serve as a Place-Based Education Summit. The agenda for the first day-and-a-half will be similar to the Sitka and Juneau Institutes, but also focus on planning a national place-based education consortium and coordinating work of the many individuals and institutions engaged in Place-Based Education.
(CANCELED)

Course Credit:
