Theresa's Camping
Trip
This
summer Theresa Shorty went camping at Curlngluk for three days. When
they were going back it took most of the day to get there. On their
first stop they ate then went rod and reeling. On their second stop
they set up camp. At the camp site, while everyone was setting up the
tent Theresa went rod and reeling. And everyone didn't go home until
one o'clock A.M. That night when Theresa went to bed she couldn't sleep
because of
the different atmosphere and the noise
around
her, which was different from
home. In the tent there were seven people. Plus there were two people
by her who were wormy.
After not sleeping all night
she decided to get up at seven or eight in the morning. After she
woke up she went rod and reeling again. And she didn't catch fish
until 10 in the morning. The rest of the people woke up at nine
o'clock A.M. And that whole day everyone fished until two or three in
the morning (A.M.). Then someone decided to take a swim. They swam
for a couple of hours. At that time Theresa decided to take a nap.
The people that were swimming didn't quit until five or five thirty
in the morning. Then she woke up from her nap and got ready for a
boat ride up stream. After they took off they didn't get back until
11:00 that evening. While they were returning to camp they let the
current push them down to the deep part of the water. Then Kathy shot
a beaver and they put it into the boat and headed back to camp. When
they got to their camp they didn't go to bed until one o'clock
A.M.
On the last day they stayed at camp
all day. They went fishing at first but it was so nice out they
decided to take a swim. This time Theresa decided to join them.
Everyone swam for most of the day, and after they were done swimming
they decided to go fishing again. While they were fishing they saw
two otters and started to target practice at them. After that they
took down their camp and started to go home. They were going to camp
closer to town, but they couldn't find dry land so they headed for
home. On their way home they met Vernon, Irene and their
grandchildren. And that was the end of Theresa's camping
trip.
