Activities·
- Plan a ski meet. Feature:
speed events
three-legged races on snowshoes and skis
hot drinks and hot dogs.
- Arrange a ski clinic:
contact an organized ski club in an urban
area; many clubs are willing to travel to
villages for instructional workshops;
arrange travel and accommodations.

- for shared charter flights: agencies conducting
business in the area

Variations
- Include other events in the
meet: distance events and
novelty events like team tea-making (three people form a
team; they ski to a given destination where there is
water, tea, and fife-making materials. The first team to
brew a cup of tea wins).
- Include the meet in a biathlon
(target shooting and cross-country
skiing).
- Hold clinics/workshops for other
sports.
- Invite other schools to
take part in the clinic;
involve the community.
- Students might travel to urban
areas for a workshop.
